Holy Qurbana at the Pampady Dayara Chapel
Daily Prayers:
A day in Pampady Dayara
starts at 04.45 a.m., with the church bell ringing. The
prayers start with the 'Rathri Prardhana' (Night
Prayer), followed by the 'Prabhatha Prardhana' ( Morning
Prayer) and the 'Moonam Mani Prardhana'. The morning
prayer ends with the 'Doopa Prardhana' (Prayers with the
censer) around the Kabar of Pampady Thirumeni and Mar
Ivanios Thirumeni.
The noon time prayer starts at 1230
a.m. The 'Sandhya Prardhana' (evening prayers) start at
05.30 p.m. This was the condition even during the time
of Pampady Thirumeni and it follows the same even today.
Holy Qurbana:
The Holy Qurbana is celebrated
on all Saturdays and Sundays. On Saturdays, the morning
prayer ('Prabhatha Namskaram') starts at 07.00 a.m. and
the Holy Qurbana starts at 07.30 a.m. On Sundays the
morning prayer ('Prabhatha Namskaram') starts at 07.10
a.m. and the Holy Qurbana starts at 08.30 a.m.
