It was but the spiritual
strength of our early church fathers who earned
it through prayer and fasting, that Pampady
Thirumeni also could claim for his own. My
sixteen year close acquaintance with Thirumeni
leaves me in no doubt that the source of his
spiritual strength was nothing other than that.
